Michele is the owner of The Dogs PACE and an approved NACSW Certifying Official, with over 20 yearsโ experience as a dog trainer and instructor. She was among the first trainers in New England to become involved in the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW) sport of K9 Nose Work in 2009. Michele continues to work extensively with NACSW as a Certifying Official, Trial Representative, trial host, and competitor. Michele has personally titled three rescue dogs through to the Elite level, and competed at the 2015 and 2017 NACSW Nationals with her Chihuahua/Terrier mix, Hemi.
While Michele has trained and competed across a range of dog sports, Nose Work remains her passion due to the profound benefits it offers dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds – from confidence building and problem solving, to handler connection and pure enjoyment.
These focus sessions are designed to level up your handling skills, and explore strategies to set up an effective search each time you train.
